One of the most exciting releases in the retro gaming scene in years has been the MiSTer FPGA. An open source project that allows cycle accurate hardware emulation of numerous consoles, computers, arcade machines, and more. A testament to the game preservation community, an educational snap shot of gaming history, and really just a fun device to play classic games. This week Press B is joined by Jer who is both a retro gaming fan, as well someone who has worked with FPGA chips in his career; and explains how they work, and their impact.
